Texas Health and Human Services Under Fire

Raging Elephants Radio broadcast activist Heidi Hansing opened her January 21, 2015 show discussing problems within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

During the first segment she touched on a Watchdogwire article written by yours truly that touched on the consolidation of 5 Texas agencies into one giant Mega-agency. For those that scream and shout about doing away with the agency that manages CPS; well Texas is doing it and hiding it under another agency.  This has Texans worried.
You will better understand those worries as Heidi finishes the show’s first hour with an interview with Jon Cassidy over his Watchdog.org article “Texas welfare agency lets crack pipe vendor take food stamps“.

Jon and Heidi have an in depth interview covering a range of topics dealing with fraud within Texas’ HHSC. First of which is how many stores provide just enough qualified food stamp products to gain approval. Questions also included queries into the lawsuit by a former HHSC investigator whistle-blower Jose Carrizal over failed investigations of improper handling of CPS cases.

Please follow through with reading the two articles and listen to Heidi’s show.
