The Head Count of Samantha’s Caseworkers is now at Twelve

Jackson County, Ga DCF has once again provided a revolving door for caseworkers for Samantha. She got a call last week from a caseworker by the name of Shawna and she said that Tempra Fields was no longer there and that she needed a face to face with Sam so she could report back to her supervisor that she had seen Samantha since she had not had a visit by DCF in a month. (Really)- No on told Samantha that Tempra had departed the premises. Funny how that happens up there.
Shawna wanted to visit Samantha on Monday and Sam informed her that she would be busy, running errands, looking for housing and visiting her children – Shawna wanted to go by the Tree House where Sam has her visit and see Sam. She told her “No” that was her time with her children. Well apparently Ms. Shawna didn’t listen and she showed up. Sara, the middle child started acting up and Sam asked her why she was acting up, Sara’s response was “Because she is here.” As she pointed to Shawna the caseworker.
Shawna told Samanthat that she would not be her caseworker that she would have a woman named Erica Smith as her caseworker, that she was just filling in.
Samantha never heard from Erica Smith, instead she got another caseworker. Number twelve in a long line of caseworker in two years. The method to the madness is they keep changing caseworkers to keep Samantha off center. This is their Method of Operation.
Apparently from my sources they can’t keep caseworkers in that office. The question is WHY? I know it is not the pay- they make excellent money and earn bonuses for every child they steal and adopt out. Could it be that maybe just maybe they see the abuse, corruption and greed that DCF perpetrates on the families in that county?
Or is it just another one of their shell games that they have in their bag of tricks to keep parents from getting back the children that have been stolen for profit by DCF. The county is broke. There is no money and the unemployment is even higher than the national average in that county. The percentage of families on public assistance out weighs the families that have jobs. Therefore, there is very little tax revenue being paid back into the county. Therefore – jobs must be cut and agencies must be cut.
Do the caseworkers in this office understand that they are complicant in the stealing of children for profit? I think not especially when they are trained on how “not to renunify” families despite the conditions of ASFA and Title IV-B in order to receive federal monies.
Next week Samantha may have yet another caseworker in Jackson County GA. The revolving door never stops. When this happens paper work gets lost, not done and communications break down. At least what there is of it. This just happened in Florida in the Murder of Nubia Barahona. The right hand never knew what the left hand was doing and a child died and another one is scared for life. This should never ever happen to a child. It is past time to bring Samantha’s children home and to stop using them as pawns in the game of “Cash for Children”.
